Dudley, also known as MC Declaime, is a beast on the microphone. He has dropped countless 12”s under his Declaime moniker as well as two albums entirely produced by Madlib. He has been featured on records by the Lootpack, M.E.D., KAZI, Kan Kick, the Jazz Liberators, Kid Sundance, OH NO and Sadat X.

Georgia, who along with creating another world for listeners to go to on her debut full-length “Olesi: Fragments of an Earth”, has been supplying beats and vocals to the likes of Erykah Badu, Wildchild (of the Lootpack), LMNO, Platinum Pied Pipers, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, MOS DEF and ODDiSEE as well as artists from G&D’s own label Epistrophik Peach Sound: Jimetta Rose, Quazedelic and Eagle Nebula.

On this 45 (IRS-005), Georgia provides the musical landscape for both tracks. Georgia sings over her song “A Friend” on the A side describing a beautiful love of hers. And she floats on top of “Mama’s Place” with Dudley speaking from the soul on the flip side about how we really will not have a place to live, if we don’t stop killing the house that god built.
